Detail of South Oculus Window in the choir, which depicts Christ and Ecclesia (the Church) surrounded by the Four Evangelists and apostles. This is the original subject in the original position, but only the decorative border areas contain original medieval glass (c.1180-1200). The main scenes are 19th century recreations by George Austin Jr. This window will be the target of the next major restoration project (as of January 2008).
