The Virgin Mary with Neighbors and Apostles. According to the Golden Legend (2.79), John wished that the other apostles would be there to pay respects before Mary's death, and they were immediately transported to her door. They sit to her left, with John probably the one standing. Behind Mary are six female "neighbors," of which one is standing - probably Mary Magdalene.
