Getting around Durham
Durham is quite compact, so the easiest and most convenient way to get around is simply to walk. There are also city buses and taxis available.
If you have your own car, you can drive around the city, but keep in mind that parking is not terribly plentiful. There are some spots on the Cathedral Close, but they are usually full.
