The label says: "In 1743 Grace Murray became the housekeeper for John Wesley's Newcastle Orphan House. During her time as housekeeper both John Wesley and one of his preachers, John Bennett, proposed marriage to her. After a long period of hesitation on Wesley's part, Grace was persuaded by Charles to marry Bennett. This placed a great strain on Charles' relationship with his brother, who felt that Charles had interfered.
