Christ Church Cathedral: Nave Looking West

Nave Looking West

Nave looking west to the organ loft and entrance. The stone architecture is Norman (12th century) and the timber roof was added in the early 16th century. The organ screen dates from c.1630, the organ case from c.1680, and the organ itself from 1979. The choir stalls and marble floor date from Gilbert Scott's restoration in 1870-76. Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, England.
