Tympanum: The Redeemed

Detail of the Last Judgment tympanum over the west door, sculpted by Gislebertus around 1130. Here on the lower left, the redeemed rise from their graves and rejoice with an angel. A bishop can be seen on the left. On the right, a person sits on his grave and unwraps his grave clothes, looking up in wonder.
