Funerary mask of Herbert Lasnier (d.1290). Limoges, gilded copper, c.1290. Found in the double tomb of Herbet Lasnier and his wife Alès (whose mask is in the Museum of Angers) in the Priory of Papillaye (Maine and Loire). Department of Decorative Arts: Middle Ages, Louvre Museum, Paris.
