The Portal of the Virgin, dedicated to the patroness of the cathedral, was sculpted around 1210-20. This is the left side of the portal, with a full-length angel (a 19th-century replacement) and three of the Zodiacs and Labors of the Months that represented the medieval year and cycle of life: Leo, Gemini and Taurus. Around the corner from Leo can be seen a man carrying hay, representing the month of June.
