The city of Toulouse is a large city in south central France, 705km (438 miles) southwest of Paris, 245km (152 miles) southeast of Bordeaux, and 97km (60 miles) west of Carcassonne.

Toulouse is served by the TGV, with about 4 trains from Paris (6 hours), 14 from Bordeaux (2-3 hours) and 8 from Marseille (4.5 hours) per day. Regular trains serve all major destinations in France, including Albi in 70 minutes (11 trains per day).
