God calls Moses from the Burning Bush. This Old Testament scene is paired with the Nativity of Christ on the so-called Elder Bible Window, a typological window at the east end of Cologne Cathedral, c. 1260. The panels make connections between stories in the Old Testament (left side) and New Testament (right side). The original panels are the oldest in the cathedral, but some were replaced c.1900.
