The Queen of Sheba brings gifts to King Solomon on the so-called Elder Bible Window, a typological window at the east end of Cologne Cathedral, c. 1260. The original panels are the oldest in the cathedral, but some were replaced c.1900. The panels make connections between stories in the Old Testament (left side) and New Testament (right side). This scene is paired with the Adoration of the Magi.
