Verona Cathedral Verona, Veneto Dating primarily from the 12th century, Verona's cathedral features fine Romanesque carvings, some Early Christian artifacts, and a lovely painting by Titian. Pisa Cathedral Pisa, Tuscany Begun in 1093, Pisa Cathedral is a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture. Its marble exterior is covered in rhythmic arcades and the interior boasts important works of art by Pisano and others. Spoleto Cathedral Spoleto, Umbria The lovely Duomo di Spoleto dates from the 12th century.
