Restaurant Reviews
This is a new section in which I'll post my personal restaurant reviews and recommendations in various destinations around the world (especially Europe). Naturally, most of the reviewed restaurants are located near sites of religious interest, but these tend to be popular tourist destinations anyway. All reviews include photos!
England Restaurant Reviews
| The Pump Room, Bath This elegant 18th-century hall serves the best afternoon tea ever, and it's located right next door to the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. Expensive, but worth it. Here you can also taste the mineral water. |

Che Vita, Durham We tried this Italian restaurant because it was next door to our hotel, but it was so good we returned the next night as well. Best part: the chocolate brioche bread pudding. I am still dreaming about it. |

Wagamama, London This growing noodle chain has over 20 locations in London alone. It serves fast, healthy and consistently delicious ramen soups, yaki sobas, juices and creative desserts in stylish, modern restaurants. |

The Trout Inn, Oxford This large pub-restaurant is on the outskirts of the city, but if you have a car or are willing to take a taxi, the Trout has excellent food served in a warm, homey rooms or on a terrace next to a river. |
Germany Restaurant Reviews
| Kartoffel Kiste, Trier A very non-touristy restaurant whose menu consists almost entirely of potato dishes! It has an authentic atmosphere and delicious German food, and we recommend it for a warm, filling dinner. |
