Museo Diocesano, Cordoba

Housed in the former Bishop's Palace and facing the Mezquita, the Diocesan Museum of Cordoba displays an excellent collection of religious art.

Included in the collection are illustrated prayer books, tapestries, paintings (including some of Julio Romero de Torres's tamer works), and sculpture.

The medieval wood sculptures are especially worth a look.
