Topmost portion of the huge altarpiece of gilded and painted wood (1504) in the Capilla Mayor, along with the busy, pseudo-brick vault. A magnificent example of Gothic art, the altarpiece is overflowing with intricate detail and summarizes the entire New Testament with life-sized figures.
