World Council of Churches Headquarters, Geneva
Because the WCC is its member churches, there is no 'head office' as such. But the WCC's Administrative Center is in Geneva, Switzerland.
As of 1 June 2004, WCC staff working in the Council's Geneva headquarters includes 205 people, of whom 166 are permanent staff and 39 consultants, temporary staff, interns and volunteers.
The general secretary is Rev. Dr Samuel Kobia, a member of the Methodist Church in Kenya. He took up his post in January 2004.
