Antioch Mosaic - Floor Plan of Bath C (bath-c-2.jpg, 385 x 600, 80.2K)

Floor plan of the large public bath on the island in the Orontes called "Bath C" by the excavators. A typical thermal establishment, this was built in the 1st century AD, destroyed in the earthquake under Trajan (115 AD) and rebuilt in the late fourth century AD.

The bath featured geometric mosaic paving, of the sort seen in the next few photos.
