Archaeological Museum, Konya
The Archaeological Museum in Konya has an excellent collection of ancient artifacts ranging from the Bronze Age to the Byzantine Era. The museum opened in its present location in 1962.
Among the displays are many ancient Roman sarcophagi, Greek altars and pottery, important inscriptions in Latin and Greek, Byzantine mosaics, and more.
