With a population of 3 million, Chicago is the biggest city in the Midwest and the third-largest in the United States. Its location on the southern shore of Lake Michigan has long made it a center of transportation, industry, trade, politics, culture and higher education.

Famed for its magnificent skyscrapers, delicious pizza, jazz clubs, gangster history and sports teams, Chicago is also home to a great variety of churches and other religious sites.

Among Chicago's many religious attractions are the only Baha'i House of Worship in the western hemisphere and a Unitarian church designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

	Baha'i House of Worship Completed in 1953, this breathtaking domed temple greets the dawn on the shores of Lake Michigan. Its unique, lacy architecture brings a taste of the East to Chicago.
	Unity Temple This groundbreaking, concrete Unitarian church was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1909, and is considered one of his great masterpieces.
