Cathedral of St. John the Divine

Located in Morningside Heights near Columbia University, St. John the Divine is the largest cathedral in the world. It has been under construction since the 1890s, and the work is still not complete. Interior ceiling arch details. One key feature of this cathedral is that the nave is built with pointed Gothic arches, while the transept features rounded Romanesque arches.
