The beautiful choir is one of the glories of St. David's Cathedral. Here services are sung by the canons of the Cathedral Chapter.
St. David's is the only cathedral in the British Isles in which the reigning sovereign is a canon of the Cathedral Chapter. The king or queen's stall is marked with a coat of arms (just visible in this photo, on the last stall of the side wall in the corner) and once had claim to a yearly income of £1.
