Tympanum: The Redeemed
Detail of the Last Judgment tympanum over the west door, sculpted by Gislebertus around 1130. In the center, apostles incline their heads in veneration towards Christ. Above them, the enthroned Virgin Mary extends her hands in blessing and an angel trumpets to waken the dead.
