York Minster: Rose Window in South Transept

Rose Window in South Transept

The Rose Window in the south transept. Its stonework dates from 1250, but the glass was added in the 15th century to commemorate the end of the War of the Roses (and the beginning of the Tudor Dynasty) through the union of the Houses of Lancaster and York.
