Cluny Abbey: Model of Cluny Abbey

Model of Cluny Abbey

Model of Cluny Abbey Church as it looked in the Middle Ages, displayed in the Galilee Passage south of the church. This view is of the south side of the huge church, with the surviving south transept tower indicated by a white roof. The narrower portion on the left is the antechurch and Barabans towers, only the foundations of which survive. The nave has not been excavated.
