Nave of the Romanesque abbey church (1105-60), looking east. The polychrome tombs in the foreground are those of King Henry II Plantagenet (d. 1189); Eleanor of Aquitaine (d. 1204), Henry's queen; King Richard I the Lionheart (d. 1199), their son; and Isabella of Angouleme (d. 1246), the wife of their youngest son, King John (d. 1216).
