Capital: Adoration of the Magi (Detail)
Romanesque capital depicting the Adoration of the Magi, on display in the chapter house. The scene is a common one but this depiction is exceptional. The faces of the Magi are full of expression and the Christ Child reaches out to touch the first of the gifts.
