Tomb of John the Steadfast

Tomb monument of John the Steadfast, Elector of Saxony (1525-32). Made in the same workshop as the celebrated tomb of Frederick the Wise, this memorial is very similar in appearance but not quite as accomplished. It was crafted by Hans Vischer in 1534.
