South Chancel Aisle
South aisle of the 6th-century basilica, which is in the chancel of the present church. These aisles were filled in in the 13th century and excavated down to floor level in the 19th century. Basilica di San Lorenzo fuori le Mura (Saint Lawrence outside the Walls), Rome, Italy.
