Maronite Cathedral: Al-Jdeida

Al-Jdeida

After staying in the Baron, we moved to another hotel in al-Jedida, the 'New' quarter of Old Aleppo (thus named as it's only about 500 years old, as opposed to 8,000). Al-Jedida is also packed with churches, there being proportionally more Christians in Aleppo than any of Syria's other large towns. This is the Maronite Cathedral, and is only about 100 years old, but no less pretty for that.
