Alter Dom (Ignatiuskirche) No longer the cathedral of Linz, the Ignatiuskirche is best known as the Alter Dom (Old Cathedral). It is the largest Baroque church in the city. Martinskirche Founded by Charlemagne, the 8th-century Church of St. Martin in Linz is the oldest church in Austria that still retains most of its original form.
